Digital Art Specifications:
Distributors, please do not open or change the original format of the art files you recieve from your customers.  Doing so may render the files useless.  Always forward the original file directly to Prime.

Artwork will be sized as large as possible or at our designer's discretion for visual appeal unless otherwise specified.

Production Schedules depend upon the quality of the artwork recieved by Prime.

Spot Color Printing
Art must be created in Illustrator, Freehand or Corel Draw.  Save art as a an .eps or .ai file with type/text converted to outlines or curves.  Original file must be vector ony with no placed images.

Four-Color Process Printing (CMYK)
Quark Xpress and Photoshop files may only be used for 4-color process printing.  All support files including graphics, placed images and Macintosh fonts must be provided.

CMYK Film Specifications
100% actual size, right reading, positive films, emulsion up, 65-85 line screen, 600 dpi.  Screen angles: Cyan at 15 degrees, Magenta at 75 degrees, Yellow at 0 degrees, Black at 45 degrees.

Special Custom Cube CMYK Film Specifications

Art Charges
If non-camera ready or improperly formatted digital art is to be used, art charges will be assessed according to the difficulty and amount of time necessary at $40.00 (G) per hour. Curved copy will be charged at $12.50 (G). No charge for PL-167 Email SeriesT Letter Opener or PL-273 Dice Stress Reliever.
