Imprint Methods

Color Fill Deboss A two-step process of combining the debossing process and filling the die struck image with foil or color. Used on leather and leatherette material.

Debossed A custom die of the advertising image is recessed into the substrate under heat and pressure. Debossed is without color and will give a tone-on-tone look. Used on leather and leatherette material.

Embroidering A process of machine-stitched threads of single or multiple colors, stitched into a design on the surface of the substrate. Used on various woven fabric substrates, embroidery adds high-perceived value to a logo and can coordinate with embroideries on today's corporate casual wear. Prime Line® has the knowledge and experience necessary to effectively apply your logo onto our many fabrics and materials assuring a vibrant, long lasting impression.

Hot Stamp TThe use of a custom die of the advertising image that transfers the image from foil or colored tape, onto substrate, under heat and pressure. Used on leather, leatherette material or plastics.

Image Bonding® This spectacular patented process allows for an infinite number of colors in perfect registration. It can be applied to a virtually unlimited range of surfaces: webbing, foam padding, insulated padding, PVC, nylon, neoprene, ABS, almost any substrate. The imprint is reproduced onto the surface layer of the material. The Image Bonding® process results in superior durability that will withstand the most rigorous of testing criteria.

Laser Engraved The use of light to burn an image into the substrate. It gives your logo a clean and polished appearance. It is available on many of Prime Line's metal items and works best when the item's surface is a different color than the substrate. Laser Oxidation is available when the surface and the substrate are the same color.

Pad Printed An inked image is transferred from a photo-etched plate to a think, soft silicone pad. The pad is then pressed against the plastic part. The pad can wrap itself as much as 180 degrees around a small object, and ink coverage is excellent. One color is done at a time and registration between colors is adequate for four-color process printing.

Silk Screened Silk screening is the direct imprinting of a design or copy onto the surface of a product. The image is pressed through tensioned nylon mesh, leaving a paint-like appearance. This is generally a better imprint than Pad Printed, though it requires a relatively flat surface without obstructions. Prime Line® has won the PPAI Gold Avard for Screen-Printing on Surfaces Other Than Textiles on numerous occasions.

VibraTec A revolutionary new decorating technology that allows stunning four-color process imprinting on a variety of products and surfaces. Photo-quality images and graphics can now be applied where previously only spot-color imprinting was available. The brilliant spectrum of full color art and photography is available on many Prime Line® products.
