System
Back
BRIDGEPORT, CT – May 23, 2003– Prime Resources Corporation,
a Counselor Top 25 Supplier, announced today that their newly installed
computer system will be turned on June 9th this year.
Prime Line’s COO, Jerry Russo explained, “The new system
streamlined purchasing and production lead times and led to increased
factory capacity without adding labor or capital equipment. This improved
efficiency means quicker turnaround, continued ultra-competitive pricing
and maximum promotional dollars spent supporting distributor sales
efforts.
Enhanced Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) capabilities allow us
to plan for and order raw materials in a more efficient way based on
in-house orders, current inventory, and forecast—we have what
you need, when you need it.”
The system will allow for more comprehensive order tracking and order
history. It includes better reporting systems to help with distributor
sales efforts; and future integration with their award-winning web
site, primeworld.com to provide real-time access to order history,
current order status, distributor pricing, and the tracking of shipped
orders.
It also improved Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools allowing
Prime Line to capture specific customer contact information, not
just by company, but by contact person. This gives Prime more ability
to tailor their customer service to distributors’ unique needs.
Prime’s new computer system will go live on Monday, June 9,
2003.

product offering in the industry and is “Your Global Source for
