Back
BRIDGEPORT, CT – January 15, 2003- Prime Resources
Corporation was awarded the Gold Supplier Web Award from PPAI for its
Web site
primeworld.com.
This annual award was presented at the PPAI Expo in
Las Vegas at the awards banquet January 14th. The award is voted on by a panel of
industry professionals. According to PPAI, the Web site judging criteria included
creativity and innovation, load time, ease of navigation and utility. Primeworld.com
was judged among many other industry supplier Web sites.
Short term objectives included providing quality tools to help
distributors conduct business. “In 2002 we focused on improving our existing web tools” stated Don Hobbs,
Prime’s Marketing Project Manager. He continued “Our online tools such as
Proof Express, Idea Search, Prime Art Relay System, and E-Greetings are some
of the best in
the industry. Our online product offering now has more than 750
items! And PrimEmail, our monthly e-mail newsletter that utilizes links to
the Web site now has a growing
list of more than 9,000 subscribers. Distributors know they can
count on its quality information to help them build their business.”
Also included on primeworld.com are product animations
to show product function and suggestions for cross-selling various related
products over
product category boundaries. Press releases, downloadable sell
sheets, virtual spec samples on its best selling products, banner links
for distributors, a growing list of useful Web
resources, instructions for using Prime’s Web images and text were also included
to add even more utility to the site.
Even with its award-winning status, Prime has plans
for 2003 that include a fresh, new look of the site, optimizing its speed and having a
direct connection to customer information. Customers will be able to track orders, check
account status, get cross-selling product information, inventory status, obtain virtual spec
samples on better than 50 products, and much more.
Primeworld.com continues to be a great success.
Distributors are better informed and the communication to and from them
has been greatly enhanced. Phone
traffic to Prime’s customer service department is reduced. The average on-hold time is significantly
reduced as well. Prime’s customers are getting instant service whenever they need it and are using
the site as a reference and selling tool. Primeworld.com’s average monthly
traffic for 2002 is an increase of more than 40% over 2001.
Prime Resources Corporation strives to provide the best service
and product offering in the industry and is “Your Global Source for Products That Promote®.”
