Prime Recognized for Superior Direct Mail Design

Back

BRIDGEPORT, CT - April 1, 2001- Prime Resources Corporation, a leading supplier in the promotional products industry, was recognized for its design of a 2000 direct mail program by 'Ken Erdman's Pick For Best of Direct Mail 2000'.

"Last year we mailed our mid-year new product catalog to our customers. We wanted to ensure that the envelope was actually opened by our customers instead of them mistaking it for junk mail and throwing it out," said Rob Curtis, Prime's marketing director. The purpose of the mailing was to introduce Prime's customers to the 24 new items in their product line.

The catalog cover was designed to have a high-tech look to represent the information age of the new millenium. It differentiated itself from others with the use of "2000.5" to indicate the mid-year announcement of new products. The catalog was enclosed in an evocative envelope stating, "When your customers ask you 'What's New?' You'll have the answer when you look inside." Along with the catalog the reader finds a letter and an order form for samples and additional catalogs.

A review of "Memorable Millennium Mailings" was published in the January 2001 issue of Counselor and authored by Ken Erdman.

Prime Resources Corporation adds an average of 75 new products to its line each year. It is a Counselor Top 25 Supplier and strives to provide the best service and product offering in the industry. Prime is "Your Global Source for Products that Promote."
