Lederer From Prime Addresses Industry - Committed To Internet and E-Commerce

BRIDGEPORT, CT - March 23, 2000 - Jeff Lederer, Prime Resources Corporation's Director of Business Development was asked to be part of a panel to address the industry during the ASI (Advertising Specialty Institute) Show in the Sands Convention Center, Las Vegas, NV March 19, 2000. The subject of the panel's discussion was the Internet, e-commerce and how it relates to the Promotional Products Industry.

Speaking to 1,500 industry professionals, Lederer said, "We embrace technology. Technology is helping us to reduce the inefficiencies in our industry." Lederer focused on Prime's history of striving to understand the needs of distributors. It is of primary importance for a supplier to provide easy access to timely information for its distributors. The distributor, in-turn can provide information to his or her customer.

During his presentation to the group, Lederer discussed an industry concern-distributors' perception that suppliers may sell directly to end users-eliminating the need for distributors. "Our industry's distributors act as an extension of our company and as our partners. They provide the face-to-face relationships with the customer. We could never survive without them."

Other topics in Lederer's presentation included better, more efficient means of communication, and distributor-supplier connectivity. The goal is to reduce indirect costs and industry redundancies- removing the propensity for errors.
