Prime Expands Production and Adds Key Personnel

BRIDGEPORT, CT - March 9, 2000 - Prime Resources Corporation, a Counselor Top 25 Supplier and PPAI Supplier Star Award of Merit winner, is happy to announce increased production capabilities in its newly expanded facility, to support its record-breaking growth.

Prime has installed several new pad and screen printing production lines. Mel Hyman, VP Operations explained, "These machines were custom made for us to allow multiple-color imprints while keeping well within registration tolerances and increasing our output rate-all at the same time. Each line is capable of imprinting thousands of items per hour. The new silk screen process includes ultra-violet-sensitive inks. Used with a UV ink dryer, this system cures the ink immediately-no drying time-much shorter lead times."

Prime has also added to its warehouse and office space, which now totals 100,000 square feet. All of this expansion is accompanied by the hiring of additional factory, Customer Service and order entry personnel, plus: Peggy Higgins, Human Resources Manager; Julie Ferber, Mid-Atlantic Regional Sales Manager; Evan Kropp, Internet Coordinator and Don Hobbs, Marketing Project Manager.
