You lost a sale. Your best customer's screaming because of a late shipment. And you're behind on your reports. Mad at the world, you head home. You don't want to carry that stress home with you, but you're note sure how to leave it behind. Leslie Charles, author of Why is Everyone So Cranky? Shares these suggestions:

Create alternate routes home. Map a more scenic commute. Take the direct route most days, but on stress-filled days take the leisurely, more pleasurable trip.

Change your clothes . Even If you wear casual clothes at the office or on the job, change clothes when you get home. Removing your "work uniform" helps create a clearer break between home and work.

Carve out time for yourself. Charles goes horseback riding every chance he gets. Seek out whatever activity you enjoy and indulge yourself, especially on tougher days.
